Digital media have brought about myriad changes in academic culture, from online networking to virtual conferences. Dissemination and publication of research is still evolving in this new space, and promises new opportunities for academics in the 21st century.

This practical one-day workshop is designed specifically for the academic. Workshop leaders will guide you through the processes of self-publishing online and in print, introduce digital avenues for networking and marketing, and explore open access concepts and practices in academic publishing.

This practical one-day workshop is designed specifically for academic and general publishers. Workshop leaders will guide you through some hands-on exercises with developing digital publishing tools, and discussions of rights management, distribution, market trends, and writer and reader perspectives in today's publishing world.
